I took a tour of that once, with some Amish


My BIL was visiting when I lived there in the mid-90s and we decided to stop by the "Hoosier Dome." Just so happened a tour was starting with a group of 10-12 Amish people (no idea).

So we jumped to the back of the group and joined them for the tour, much to their surprise. But we were polite and they didn't seem to mind.

The one thing that stuck out to me was how thin the artificial turf was over concrete. They were working on it so we could see the profile, and it was literally 1/8 inch of fake grass over concrete, nothing else. It hurt just looking at it.
